The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Department of Health and Human Services partnered with Discovery Networks, US, to develop this DVD program aimed at combating childhood obesity.
This fun, interactive DVD for children, ages 5–9, and their families, offers suggestions for:
- Eating five fruits and vegetables per day
- Getting away from the TV and computer
- Being physically active indoors and outside
A separate section provides parents with small, achievable steps to help encourage and implement these healthy habits in their children and themselves.
